    "For nearly 25 years, much of Shirley Ardell Mason's artistic oeuvre lay hidden in a basement closet of her home on Henry Clay Boulevard. The "hidden paintings" were unearthed after her death in 1998, but like their creator, better known as the multiple personality "Sybil," they remain an enigma, largely unseen even in Kentucky."
